If you are someone who constantly gets puffy eyes and dark circles then this is the post for you. Practice these 6 habits constantly to prevent and or help the frequency of getting puffy eyes. By practicing these habits you will start seeing results that are guaranteed to help the overall appearance of your under eyes.

This post is all about puffy under eye bags.

1.SLEEP

You can never underestimate the importance of getting enough sleep.Sleep goes hand in hand with how you look, your mood and how energized you feel. So make sure you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep daily.

2.AVOID RUBBING EYES

You should also try to avoid rubbing your eyes. Rubbing your eyes can cause the tiny blood vessels underneath the skin surface to break leading to dark circles and puffiness.

3.STAYING HYDRATING

Make sure you are also drinking enough water throughout the day. Drinking 8 glasses of water is recommended to make sure you are staying hydrated. You want to avoid dehydration, as dehydration can cause the skin around your eyes to look saggy and with time cause dark circles.

4.AVOID EATING SALTY FOODS

What you eat is going to have an impact on your health. I’m sure you have heard the saying that goes “you are what you eat” and while we might not like it, it’s true. Eating too much salt in particular is bad but for your eyes it can cause fluid retention and cause swelling. So limit the amount of salt intake to avoid this.

5.USE AN EYE CREAM

Applying an eye cream can also help with puffy eyes and dark circles. As mentioned in a previous article regarding puffy eyes, look for a cream that contains ingredients like caffeine, vitamin C and antioxidants to help the overall appearance of your under eyes. Also remember any time you are applying eye cream, gently tap around the area instead of rubbing it.

6.ADDRESS ALLERGIES

Now this one is a little unavoidable especially when it comes to weather changes. If you are someone who has allergies, talk to your doctor to help create some sort of treatment to help relieve your symptoms.
