Things to know before getting an eyelash lift
Before you get an eyelash lift make sure you do your research and go with a certified eye tech! Remember, lash lifts include chemicals and you want to avoid them getting into your eyes and causing complications.
Set up an appointment prior to scheduling an eyelash lift. During your appointment make sure to ask your tech any questions you still might have to help you decide whether or not this treatment is right for you. This would also be the best time to discuss the price. From my understanding some places offer a tint & a lift or just a lift and prices can easily vary depending on where and who you go with. Again, make sure to ask all your questions.
Things to know while getting an eyelash lift
- Avoid curling your eyelashes or applying waterproof mascara.
- One thing to note is that your eyes will be shut through the entire process, which usually lasts about 45-60 minutes so be sure to bring some headphones to listen to music & wear comfy clothes.
- Once settled in your technician starts by cleaning your eyelashes, then proceeds with placing a silicone pad on your eyelids. P.S., the silicone is placed on the eyelid to help get a consistent curl but I panicked because I couldn’t open my eyes. Next your technician will comb and apply the treatment, while re-shaping your lashes upward to give them the lifted look. After a couple of minutes the product is removed and your technician cleans and brushes your lashes.
Things to know after getting an eyelash lift
- Avoid washing your eyelashes for 24-48 hours
- Will have gorgeous natural lashes
- They are high maintenance and can get expensive

FINAL THOUGHTS
Is getting an eyelash lift worth it?
Personally, I have straight lashes so I have to curl my lashes about 20 times (haha jk) before I can get them the way I want them to, so I would say if this sounds like you it’s definitely worth it! Not only does it save time when getting ready but it also gives your lashes length and a natural look.
